You may recall our announcement back in April that Brady Boiler Services would be rebranding to Icon Boiler.

Icon Boiler provides the same service and expertise you have come to rely on from Brady. In addition, Icon offers an expanded equipment portfolio and geographic reach for new and existing customers throughout the Southeast. These expanded services and geographic expansion align with long-term growth plans for Icon Boiler and are possible in part due to our new partnership with Superior Boiler, the undisputed experts in boiler manufacturing in the U.S.

Superior Boiler has been manufacturing boilers since 1917. Based in Hutchinson, Kansas, they are the world’s leading manufacturer of Scotch Marine firetube boilers, watertube boilers, high-efficiency condensing boilers, and other boiler room equipment. Superior Boiler custom engineers their equipment and systems to fit any footprint for a range of commercial and industrial applications. We were delighted with Superior’s enthusiasm to enter into a different kind of partnership with Icon Boiler.

Together, Icon and Superior designed a new custom-manufactured, private-label product line of firetube boilers, watertube boilers, condensing boilers, and ancillary boiler room products. As with all Superior boilers, the Icon line is made in the United States from U.S. steel.

Icon put careful thought into naming the new boilers, exemplifying our commitment to the communities in which we live and serve, and honoring our military veterans. Our founder, the late Don Brady, was a veteran, and 20% of our associates are veterans. We are grateful for their service to our country, our communities, and our customers. Our fire tube boilers are named after different types of military vehicles such as ships, aircraft, and tanks. The names Falcon, Poseidon, Spartan, and Pegasus are a salute to our veteran-focused roots and commitment.

We named our watertube boilers after large Southeastern port cities including Brunswick, Charleston, Tampa, and Savannah. These familiar names remind us and our customers of Icon Boiler’s commitment to providing our communities with the best boiler services available.

Icon Boiler is proud to partner with Superior Boiler on behalf of our customers, and Superior Boiler reciprocates that appreciation. “Brady is an industry-known name, so manufacturing boilers for Icon Boiler is a pat on the back for us,” says Superior’s Chris Nuttmann, “and it’s kind of exciting to be doing something a little different than our norm.”
